We are changing our name! Here is a look at our new logo:

ÄDELBROOK - The Children's Home

The Children’s Home has been faithful to its mission of serving young people in need for over 110 years. We are now expanding our programs into additional communities and providing services for persons of all ages with a special concentration on the mental health needs of persons with developmental disabilities and autism. To reinforce the diversity of these new services, while maintaining our tradition and focus, we worked very hard to develop a new and meaningful name and logo. We are becoming Ädelbrook. A blended word, it honors our Swedish heritage, as “Ädel” means noble or precious, while “brook” represents the peaceful, but ever-changing momentum of life. The logo mark features a rendering of a dove that identifies our faith based ministry and represents optimism and hope.
Ädelbrook, and the logo, embody the dignity of working together with people to assist them as they move forward in their lives.  Together, they illustrate our commitment to provide hope and healing for all those we serve.

The Children’s Home of Cromwell, Inc. is the parent organization of two major programs:
The Children’s Home Residential Treatment Facility (CHOC)
and its affiliate, The Children’s Home Community Services, Inc. (CSI).  The agency has been an outreach ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church (based in Chicago) since 1905.

The Children's Home has been caring for kids and families in need since 1900. Today, The Home is a state-of-the-art residential treatment center, special education school, and family treatment center. If you need help for your child or family please call us at (860) 635-6010 or follow the link at the top of this page for our Counseling Services. We accept day students in our school, and have a variety of programs for individuals and groups.
