Helping
the Kids at Christmas
Greatest needs are adopting a family
and food
For most, Christmas is a time of warm
family traditions, hearty meals, and
generous gifts.
Most kids at The Children's Home have
not experienced this kind of Christmas
due to their family situations or simple
poverty.
Our goal at The Children's Home is
to provide a loving and meaningful
Christmas-time for all of our kids
and their families. That is why we
encouraging families, churches, businesses,
and organizations to adopt a family
and/or donate food items for Christmas
meals.
For 2004, over 60 families of children
in our care need food for a healthy
and hearty meal on Christmas. And numerous
kids and our family are available for
"adoption" - basically helping this
family with presents, food, and other
needs so they can have a joyous holiday.
