Mission
Teams Come and Work at The Home
Helping to refurbish an old house,
building picnic tables, helping to set up a new low-elements
Ropes Course - these are just some of the projects that
mission teams accomplished this past summer at The Children's
Home.
Teams that participated this summer included church youth and adult groups, business
professionals from Aetna and other companies, and students from Wesleyan, Rocky
Hill High School, and other schools.
There are many other projects to be completed next summer. Please consider joining
us for one day, overnight, or longer! It is a great way to serve and also develop
a real passion for the work done at The Children's Home.
For more information, please contact John Powers, Director of Communication and
Volunteers, at 860/635-6010, X334, or email at jpowers@childhome.org.
