6th
Annual Hartford Wolf-Pack
Golf for Kids Tournament, sponsored by
Anthem, to benefit The Children's
Home.
Held on Tuesday, October 11, 2005
The Avon Country Club
Avon, CT
The
6th annual Hartford Wolf-Pack Golf
Tournament was held at the prestigious
Avon Country Club on October 11, 2005. This
prestigious event included a celebrity with
every foursome - Wolf-Pack players and coaches,
New York Rangers representatives, sports
broadcasters, etc.
During eight straight days of torrential
rain in CT, the Wolf-Pack Golf for Kids was
blessed with six hours of no rain! The event
featured great golf, a wonderful dinner, and the annual introduction
of all Wolf-Pack players. In addition, the second annual "David
J. Carlson Humanitarian Award" was given
to US Sen. Christopher J. Dodd for all of
his work on behalf of children in need.
Best of all, the Wolf-Pack, sponsors,
golfer, and volunteers all united
to raise funds, support, and awareness
for the youngsters being cared for
at The Children's Home. Thank you!
